8June2008 CMA concert at LP Field, Nashville Tn
Before the concert, we had dinner at Merchant's, the restaurant recommended by Lonely Planet. The dessert looked too rediculously embellished for a 'bread pudding'. But when we tasted it, wow! We didn't stop shuffling forkfuls till the plate was clean. What is the food version of "Don't judge a book by its cover?"
Don't think Nashville is all 'country and western' with some 'rock n roll' thrown in.
You can get jazz or the classics at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center also
Those coaches were filled with country music lovers who came to attend the concert
Leaving this side for the music on the otherside - it was still Nashville
View of LP Field as we walked across the bridge to get to the concert venue

Paramedics ready in case the music got people too excited
This crowd controller was a real favorite with people who passed by
The music people sure traveled in style
Can there be any events without advertisements?
Where were our seats?
What was it like up front?
OK, a closer view of the stage - before the show started. We were told the serious fans booked one year in advance
USMC fighter jets did a fly past specially for the CMA concert. The sights and sounds were awesome.
Once the concert started, almost everyone stood up. The bill that evening featured Bucky Covington,Billy Ray Cyrus, Sara Evans, James Otto, Randy Travis and Dwight Yoakam
The lights looked more spectacular with the coming of night. The only way to see the performers was by watching the giant screens on either side of the stage. The binoculars we brought was better off trained on these screens also
